It was getting dark, and Martine had arranged for us to stay at his cousin's house up in the mountains.There was no electricity or lights on the mountain road, and the road was rough, but we looked up and saw the stars and lights in the sky, and we were very happy.When we arrived at Martine's missionary cousin's house, a group of brothers and sisters, large and small, came out to welcome us, prepared dinner, and charged up our cell phone batteries.The next morning, Martine went out early to make sure the river was running. Because the water was shallow on the hills, he had to dig a hole in the bottom of the river to make it high enough for the baptists to soak themselves in the water.Martine's missionary cousin showed us around the family's orchards and vegetable gardens, which were rich and fruitful, and fed us breakfast with their produce.
