That is why it was called Babel —because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth. (Genesis 11:9 NIV)

After the Babel event, Lord confused the language of the whole world so that many languages were generated. Would there be any problem made by Bible translation to Hebrew, Greek or other languages in each country? Could the Chinese Bible be able to express the true meaning of the Bible?

In fact, the true author of the Bible is God who takes man as his pen to express the Word of life. The source of language wisdom is God who gives the different languages for different nations. The letter kills, but the spirit gives life. The Holy Spirit working in it is consistent because one Lord, one holy spirit.

So the Bible was so coherent and confirmed with each other for the true author was God even though the author of the Bible had more than forty from different ages, different occupations, different nations, and the Bible was also written over a thousand years. Though many languages but they are one in Christ Jesus because the Spirit of God knows the things of God, and instructs people to know the things of God.

God gave the Israelites Hebrew, American English, Chinese Chinese, other nations different languages and all kinds of language were from God. God uses Chinese that the Chinese can understand to express the Word of life, and uses English that the American can understand to express the Word of life. And God has given the Holy Spirit to help people pray and understand the will of God.

The Spirit of truth who helps us in our time of need and guides us into all the truth. We do not rely on language translation master, but advocate, the spirit of the truth. He is the true author of the Bible who are working in mouths of preachers, hands of the interpreters, and hearts of the listeners .

When we believe in the Lord, God would instruct our hearts not in words by human wisdom but by the Spirit so that we could really know him. We could know the only God, the most high king who created heaven and earth through the Spirt who guides us by wordless power, strength and groans.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, (2 Timothy 3:16 NIV)

so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:17 NIV)

However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:9-16 NIV)
